Security Alert: Honiara Curfew Lifted (December 11, 2021)

Location: Honiara, Solomon Islands

Event: The Governor General of Solomon Islands repealed December 10 the emergency order that established an indefinite nightly curfew in Honiara. The nightly curfew from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. is no longer in effect. U.S. citizens are advised to continue to monitor local media and official sources of information for further updates.
