Message for U.S. Citizens: Resumption of Routine Consular Services; Outreach in Goroka

We are pleased to announce the resumption of all routine Consular Services at the U.S. Embassy in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, effective September 20, 2021.  All visitors at the Embassy must wear a mask and maintain social distancing at all times.

Immigrant visa applicants will be contacted by the National Visa Center with information once the interview has been scheduled.  Diversity Visa Program selectees for the 2021 program year should contact us immediately at ConsularPortMoresby@state.gov.

[The Goroka Outreach has been postponed indefinitely due to COVID-19 restrictions.] 

Finally, we are pleased to announce our Consular Officer will travel to Goroka to provide Consular services to U.S. citizens in the region on November 12, 2021.
