The United States Embassy in Port Moresby has a requirement for services to repair a US Government residential property’s swimming pool and deck at Davetari Drive, Section 51, Lot 96, Touaguba hill. Attached are the solicitation documents for the requirement. Kindly read all the documents and follow the instructions in the request for quotation letter, on how to submit you’re proposal. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday June 24, 2020 at 9.00am. Please submit your names to for security clearance to access the site by June 22, 2020 4.00 pm (24 hours clearance is required to access the building). Please direct all questions regarding this solicitation to the Contracting Officer, US Embassy, Port Moresby. Email contact is deadline for submitting a quotation is, July 15, at 4.00pm. No quotations will be accepted after this time.

This announcement constitutes a Pre-Solicitation notice only and does not commit the U.S. Embassy, Port Moresby to make any award. The Embassy may cancel this RFQ or any part of it. The U.S. Government intends to award to a responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price. Quotes submitted should represent the contractor’s best and final offer on their letter head showing your registered company name in Papua New Guinea and General Services Tax (GST) number. All quotes to be submitted in the local currency (Kina). Please note that collusion with other potential offers with regard to price quotations would result in being precluded from doing business with the U.S. Government.



This is to advise you that solicitation number 19PP5020-Q-0002, issued on June 11, 2020, for the purchase and installation of services to connect the main Port Moresby’s city water line to the United States of American, New Embassy Building (NEC), has been canceled.
