Annual Program statement

Click here to read information about our yearly call for grant proposals. You may apply at any time until the August 1 deadline. You should apply at least 8 weeks before your program start date. Note that we do not have any funding from October – February, so if you have a program in the fall of 2023 or the spring of 2024 that requires funding, and you will begin pre-program planning and purchases this fiscal year, you should apply before the August 1deadline.

ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT INNOVATION FUND (AEIF)

Alumni of U.S. government-funded and U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs are encouraged to submit applications to the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund.

Ambassador's Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP)

AFCP Program Objectives: The Department of State established the AFCP in 2000 at the request of Congress (Conference Report 106-1005 accompanying H.R. 4942). At the time, the Senate noted that the preservation of cultural heritage “offers an opportunity to show a different American face to other countries, one that is non-commercial, non-political, and non-military.”

American Corner Programming grants
