Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF)
3 MINUTE READ
February 1, 2022

The Embassy of the United States in Port Moresby announces an open competition for past participants (“alumni”) of U.S. government-funded and U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs to submit applications to the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund. We seek proposals from teams of at least two alumni. Exchange alumni interested in participating in AEIF 2022 should contact pdportmoresby@state.gov

Teams of alumni must jointly create their proposal with the U.S. Embassy staff and in line with Embassy goals. AEIF will consider proposals between $10,000 and $40,000. Proposals can be submitted at two times in 2022.

The first application deadline is February 1, 2022; the second April 1, 2022. If you have an idea but are not part of an alumni team, contact us and we will help you join one or more other alumni.

All submitted projects must address one of the four U.S. foreign policy themes:

  • Fostering Economic Prosperity
  • Promoting Good Governance
  • Fostering Safe Seas, Skies, and Land
  • Investment in Human Capital
